CIOs losing power?

PwC says nearly 50% of IT spend is outside of the CIO’s budget. This affirmation has two possible reads:

1. CIOs are losing power. This is especially true for old fashion IT Managers that are kidnapping the company with custom developments to have the control in their hands. However I believe that modern CIOs are gaining more power if they deliver the right technology at the right time to the business units.

2. In the coming future will be almost impossible to get a C-Level position if you don’t have a good knowledge of Technology. If fact some Marketing Managers should be fired right now. I cannot believe that some Marketing Managers don’t have any knowledge about SEO, SEM, Social Media, iBeacons… I mean knowledge…

En España debemos esperar el plazo de un mes para constituir nuestro negocio; en Reino Unido solo nos llevará tres horas y  71 euros, fácil y rápido. La segunda diferencia es el capital social, en España son 3001 euros, en Inglaterra por tan solo 40 libras puedes empezar a trabajar. La tercera es que no estás obligado a cobrar ni declarar el IVA. Tan solo tienes obligación de declarar si sobrepasas los 68.000 euros anuales de facturación.
